My Butterfly pieces all began with ‘My Father’s Books’. A celebration of my father, Trevor and his beloved literary collection. Each of his books was digitally then meticulously hand crafted into a swallowtail butterfly.

From this came ‘Rock and Roll Butterflies’, ‘Box Office Butterflies’ and ‘007 Butterflies’. These all capture in butterfly form, classic albums and movies as well as Bond posters.

The butterflies capture only a glimpse of these iconic images. They are wonderful discussion pieces as viewers look to identify the album or movie.

I produce these pieces for galleries and private customers. The latter tend to commission bespoke pieces as they are a captivating way to recall magical memories from your life or your family’s life. You may not wish or be able to accommodate 36 album covers or movies on your wall but in butterfly format presented in a premium double frame format with Clarity Glass the effect is stunning.
